Rolling Waves Optical Illusion Quilt Tutorial | Free Quilt Pattern | Strip Piecing | Easy Quilt

Strip piecing is used to make three variations of the Double 9-Patch quilt block. The pattern is offered by McCallsQuilting.com as a two fabric version. Also included in this tutorial is a revised version using four fabrics.

Finished size about 80" x 80".

Here are the double 9-patch variations used:

Double 9-Patch finished size 6-3/4" square

Double 9-Patch Variation finished size 15-3/4" square

Stretched Double 9-Patch finished size 6-3/4" x 15-3/4"
