Fabric and Cutting the Color Burst Quilt Block
55006, 55701 or 6” Qube Shape 1
55319, 55818, 55705 or 6” Qube Shape 5
55702, 55022, 55073 or 6” Qube Shape 2
A – 5 @ 3-1/2” squares.
A – 4 @ 3-1/2” squares.
B – 4 @ 2-3/8” (2-3/4” to trim) squares for HST 2 At
A Time OR
cut each in half once diagonally for 8 patches OR
A – 4 @ 3-1/2” squares.
B – 4 @ 2-3/8” (2-3/4” to trim) squares for HST 2 At
A Time OR
cut each in half once diagonally for 8 patches OR
1 @ 4-3/4” (5” to trim) square for HST 8 At A Time.
Piecing the Color Burst Quilt Block

Using the A patches make 2 of each of the following units:
2. Using the B patches or
squares, make 8 HST units.
3.
Using the HST and the remaining patches, make the center unit.
4. Refer to diagram to
assemble block.
