Fabric and Cutting the Quarter Star Quilt Block
Cutting diagrams for each patch are shown. AccuQuilt dies for each patch are listed below the diagrams.
55006, 55701 or 6” Qube Shape 1
55009, 55703 or
12” Qube Shape 5 or
6” Qube Shape 3
To Make the 16" Finished Block
From each fabric cut:
A – 1 @ 4-1/2”
squares.
B – 1 @ 4-7/8” (5” to trim) squares for HST 2 At A Time OR
cut each in half once diagonally for 2 patches.
Piecing the Quarter Star Quilt Block
1. Divide the patches into 4
sets of two coordinating fabrics.
2. From
each set, make 2 HST units. Trim units to 3-1/2”.
3. Use the coordinating A
patches with the HST units to make 4 of the corner units shown.
4. Refer to diagram to
assemble block.
