Cutting and Fabric for Night and Day Quilt Block
A – 2 @ 3-1/2” squares.
B – 4 @ 3-7/8” (4” to trim) squares for HST 2
At A Time OR
cut each in half once diagonally for 8
patches OR
1 @ 7-3/4” (8-1/4” to trim) square for HST 8
At A Time.
A – 2 @ 3-1/2” squares.

Piecing the Night and Day Quilt Block
1. Using the B patches or
squares, make 8 HST units. HST should measure 3-1/2”.
2. Refer to diagram to
assemble block.
