Fabric and Cutting the Christmas Present Quilt Block

A – 2 @ 2” x 20-1/2” rectangles.

B – 2 @ 3-1/2” x 17-1/2” rectangles.

C – 2 @ 3-1/2” squares.

D – 2 @ 3-7/8” (4” to trim) square for HST 2 At A Time OR

cut each in half once for 2 patches.

E – 1 @ 2-1/2” x 3-1/2” rectangle.

D – 2 @ 3-7/8” (4” to trim) square for HST 2 At A Time OR

cut each in half once for 2 patches.

G – 1 @ 2-1/2” x 14-1/2” rectangle.

F – 36 @ 2-1/2” squares OR 4 @ 6-1/2” squares.

Piecing the Christmas Present Quilt Block

1. Using the F patches, make four 9-patch units.

2. Using the step 1 units and the H patches, make 2 of the units shown.

3. Sew the G patch between the step 2 units as shown.

4. Using the D patches, make 2 HST units.

5. Using the HST units and the C and E patches make the bow unit shown.

6. Refer to diagram to assemble block.
