Fabric and Cutting the Pointed Quilt Block
Use 3.5” strip cutter to cut strips and sub cut
12-1/2” segments.
A – 4 @ 3-1/2” squares.
B – 4 @ 3-7/8” ( 4” to trim) squares for HST 2 At A Time OR
cut each in half once diagonally for 8 patches OR
1 @ 7-3/4” (8-1/4” to trim) square for HST 8 At A
Time.
B – 4 @ 3-7/8” ( 4” to trim) squares for HST 2 At A Time OR
cut each in half once diagonally for 8 patches OR
Piecing the Pointed Quilt Block
1. Using the B patches or
squares, make 8 HST units.
