Fabric and Cutting the Flower Patch Quilt Block
Cutting diagrams for each patch are shown. There are no Accuquilt dies to cut these shapes.
A – 2 @ 1” x 9-1/2” rectangles.
B – 2 @ 1” x 10-1/2” rectangles.
D – 1 @ 6-1/2” x 8-1/2” rectangle.
C
– 8 @ 1-1/2” x 4-1/2”
rectangles.
Piecing the Flower Patch Quilt Block
1. Using the C and E patches, make 4 of the units shown.
2. Using the step 1
units, sew one to each long side of Patch D.
3. Sew the remaining step
1 units to the top and bottom of the step 2 unit.
4.
Sew a B patch to each long side of the step 3 unit.
5. sew the A patches to
the top and bottom of the step 4 unit to complete the block shown in the
diagram above.
